A country’s economy can be broadly divided into three sectors, where any given company existing within this economy can be classified as belonging to one of these sectors.
The financial services sector is a very important one in any economy, and is typically categorized as belonging to the tertiary sector. The services and goods given by companies in the financial sector will of course vary from country to country, but at large they will encompass the central bank, private banks, mortgage banks, insurance and pension funds amidst some others. These numerous financial institutions offer many different services to its customers, but one common denominator in all these varieties of services is that they deal with money in one shape or another. Banks, like La Caixa and Banco of East China, make up a huge percentage of the financial sector in any country. The primary function of any bank is to lend money and keep money of its clientele.
The forestry sector, or as it is sometimes known the wood industry may not be as big as it once was, but it's still an essential element of the economy in lots of countries. Businesses, which are generally private, are engaged in such activities as logging, timber trade and the manufacturing of forest products. Some instances of companies active in the forestry sector feature Weyerhaeuser and Louisiana-Pacific. Another big part of this sector is silviculture, which is particularly concerned with forest plants. Although silviculture is not immediately associated with extraction of wood, it's still grouped in the same sector. This field can be categorized as belonging to the primary sector as it demonstrates features of primary sector, the extraction of raw materials, in this case being the wood, that can then be utilized in the production of a different product.
Robotics is a fairly young industry, but it's one of the fastest thriving types of industry also.
